We have an informal process of auditing and optimising entire supply chains or individual processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency. This might be planning the move to a different building or planning the new facility itself but then again it could be a Management re-structure or process re-engineering. It could even be planning and implementing the outsourcing of complete operations or services.
